How to make people like YOU
Life can be so exciting, especially when you are about to open your own practice, right.
To serve the people in your own way.
To communicate your message to those who need it.
To live the life of your dreams.
The excitement is immeasurable, the new ideas keep on popping up in your head. You are so ready!
But now, how do you get your message out there? How do you make sure you stand out? How do you make people find you? And how do you make them like You?
It is all about how you make them feel. It is the customer experience you create. Period.
From the moment they see your ad to the moment they enter through the door, to the moment they leave your practice. Everything matters – your practice’s name, your tagline, your furniture, your receptionist, your receptionist’s voice on the phone, your online activities, the colors your use to decorate your practice. Everything. Because everything has it own “voice”, it’s way to make us feel certain way.
Think for example of the color scheme you will use. Let’s take the color pink, soft pink. How does it make you feel? Psychologist believe that it helps tranquilize anger and calm the nerves system. Switzerland applied that in their prisons by painting jail cells in pink to avoid aggression. Besides that soft pink is sweet, soft, inviting, gentle, no harm in it at al.
Think of how leather furniture makes you think. It may be very practical, but it is what your patients “need”? And if yes, what colour would be the best for you?
Think of how positioning your desk may affect them. Is it the experience you want to give them? They need your expertise, yes, however, what makes you stand out is the overall customer experience you create.
Let’s have a game plan how to make this happen. Let’s create a brand for your practice. A unique, magnetic brand. Just as you are.
And at last, congratulations on taking this step and thank you for the difference you are going to make in the lives of many.
On your beautiful practice!
